Summary
I am interested in mathematics, especially of geometrical patterns in the plane and in space, as in grids, networks, fabrics, lattices, tilings, symmetry groups, and interference patterns etc. Those patterns are after all the building blocks of our (self-made) environment.
Also interested in ‘ Math and Art’ because sometimes mathematics itself could produce intriguing objects and images, and otherwise entrancing objects could be clarified by an interesting mathematics. In both cases creating room for deeper thoughts, inspiration and ideas.
More than 20 years of experience in Architecture and Design. In areas of housing (new social and owner-, renovation, urban renewal, redevelopment, private residence ) as well in establishing facilities for different categories of education, offices, conference facilities, industry, and in urban design and interior design. In the role of designer, advisor, technical engineer, manager, and specifications writer. Always searching for solutions in matters of space versus usage, meaning, and form.
I am a thinker and analyst, always digging for background data to order and unravel connections and relations, and the foundations of subject matters.
Concerned with running, and the mental implications on the mind, as well as other mental implications of different physical conditions in the body and in the brain.
Even so interested in education, and teaching and training groups.
